Google Knol is no more – Save Your Content Fast

Finally we found that one more Google project going to close I am telling one more because already Google Buzz and Google real time search have leave us. Of course same reasons for all three are less popularity or loosing popularity. Knol was announced at 13 of Dec 2007 and was opened to us by 23 July 2008, Aim to start this project was collaborate on, and publish credible web content. Now when I visit to knoll and found this over there -

Its not really good news for knol lover and writers but its good they can save their content by using two methods that’s sharing one Export knols to wordpress.com or you can also download you knoll content. Google knol also updated Frequently Asked Questions regarding why is Knol being discontinued? And why is WordPress.com the default destination for Knol content? Etc. Even you will be little surprise when you will see twitter profile of Google knol and know there were no updates after 22-Dec-2009. Knol was not really successful project and it confirmed when we went to matt cutts knol page and found there was no articles submitted and just shared blog link by matt cutts.

So we seeing that many of Google project has closed so the one question has emerged in mind that should we be continue with free stuff. Can we believe on this any stuff will remain same. Anyway we can’t make any comment on it because still people love to blogger where they write their content but many experienced web marketer say it’s good to write blog but avoid free stuff take your own domain so you would have freedom, safety and more choices.
